Applications and Services Track
Applications Track (AT1 - AT8)
Each application session will feature both conceptual presentations and practical case studies of the topic as implemented by CosmoCom customers.
Tuesday 6 May
2:15pm - 3:45pm AT1 Application Integration
Most CosmoCom customers know that integratability is one of CCU's key strengths. Application integrations add great value to CCU by maximizing agent productivity and enhancing the customer experience. In this double session, we’ll hear from some partners who have integrated their own applications with CCU, and from others who have integrated third well-known party applications. We'll learn a little about how the integrations were done, and a lot about their practical value.
AT2
4:30pm - 5:15pm AT3 Outbound Calling with CCU
Many customers use only the inbound features of CCU, but the product also has a full complement of outbound capabilities, and for an increasing number of customers, it's the outbound functions that are primary. The combination of inbound and outbound enables some very interesting and cost effective blended applications. In this session, we'll learn more about CCU’s outbound capabilities from the people who developed them, and well hear about some of the fascinating outbound and blended applications in use by our customers.
Wednesday 7 May
11:00am - 11:45am AT4 Service Provider Updates
More service providers use CCU for their hosted contact center offerings than any other platform of its kind. Some of CosmoComs’s newest service provides will join some of our most experienced partners to share their unique perspectives and experiences. How are they communicating the Consolidation 2.0 value proposition and the hosted service value proposition? How are they competing with premise-based offerings? When do they use the shared platform approach, and when do they offer a dedicated hosted platform? What are the most interesting customers and applications? Whether you are a service provider or an end user, you will find these presentations fascinating.
11:45pm - 12:30pm AT5 Global Partners
CosmoCom’s business, like our Call Center Technology, spans the globe. And our partnerships are worldwide. In this session we’ll hear from two of our global partners and learn about the reach of our solutions and business operations, and how our teams work together across the globe.
2:00pm - 2:45pm AT6 Did You Know?
One of our most successful sessions last year returns this session to explore a new collection of some of the least known and most useful capabilities of CCU. The presentation will include some of our newest features from version 5.2, plus others useful features that may not be new, but will probably be new to you. This is a session that lives up to one of our missions for this event, to help you "maximize the value of your investment in CosmoCom technology."
2:45pm - 3:30pm AT7 Innovative Agent and Administrative User Interfaces
One of the advantages of CCU is its Web Services and other APIs that enable the development of unique administrative and agent user interfaces. Many of our customers and partners have customized CCU in this way, not only changing the user interface, but also adding completely new features and functions. CCU is limited only by the creativity and ingenuity of our customers, which means it's not limited at all. You'll be amazed at some of these derivative developments. You may want to use some of them yourself. You may be inspired to do something similar for yourself.
4:15pm - 5:00pm AT8 Creative CCU deployments and Operations
CCU provides the flexibility to adapt to the exacting requirements of each user’s operations. In this session we’ll see a variety of CCU deployments and we’ll learn how operations have been optimized for each unique user.
