Hauppauge, NY, March 7, 2000 -- CosmoCom, Inc., the industry leader in unified contact center technology, today announced plans for strategic expansion of its global operations with the opening of new European offices and the appointment of executive management to oversee sales-related activities in the international arena, including Asia and Latin America.
CosmoCom also announced the expansion of its European sales headquarters in the United Kingdom, enabling the facility to function as a competence center for CosmoComs international operations and to manage technical support, product requirements, marketing, and strategic customer relationships in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
CosmoCall Universe, our complete, high capacity, high availability contact center platform, has already made CosmoCom the undisputed unified contact center leader in the United States, remarked Ari Sonesh, CosmoCom President and CEO. As the need for this essential eCare technology emerges across the globe, CosmoCom will be ready to meet the demand and extend our industry leadership worldwide.
Todays announcement also cited the recent appointments of Meir Yaniv to the position of CosmoCom Vice President of International Operations and Chuck Hart as CosmoCom Regional Vice President for Latin America and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining CosmoCom, Mr. Hart managed CRM and call center opportunities in Latin American and Asia Pacific markets for Lucent
Technologies/Mosaix Inc. Mr. Yaniv, a veteran sales executive, joined CosmoCom from Telco Systems, where he spearheaded an international sales force, developed a worldwide distribution network, and established far-reaching international partnerships.
CosmoCall Universe is the only unified, IP-based contact center platform capable of addressing the needs of a thriving global marketplace, Mr. Yaniv stated. We are assembling an extraordinary sales and marketing team ready to deliver both the message and the technology to eBusinesses anywhere in the world.
Mr. Yaniv also indicated that the companys Southern European operations will be coordinated from a new office in France, which will open its doors in March, 2000. A German office is slated to open during the second quarter of 2000.
According to Mr. Hart, CosmoCom is making a concerted effort to escalate sales and marketing efforts in the Asia Pacific region. This is virtually uncharted territory for CosmoCom. Developing resources and partnerships that will help us bring CosmoComs eCare technology to a potentially lucrative market is a winning proposition for both CosmoCom and the eBusiness community based in this region, he remarked.
