Lenovo, the PC market leader in China whose systems have a 27% market share, selected CosmoCom as the best technology to address the call center market in China. To support Lenovo’s objective of leading this market as it now leads the PC market, CosmoCom will expand its own presence in China.
"The call center market in China has been dominated up to now by traditional PBX technology," said Jinsong Li, GM of Finance Application & Services Business of LPS (Lenovo Professional Services). But we believe that server-based IP technology and VoIP will take hold quickly and be more successful in the long run. This partnership with CosmoCom enables us to offer the most advanced call center technology available as a software application running on our own servers and ensures our competitive edge for the future."
"While CosmoCom has been active in China for some time now, the Lenovo agreement brings our China presence to a whole new level," said Meir Yaniv, CosmoCom’s Senior Vice President of Sales. "The Lenovo brand has tremendous power in China, which helps them immensely to succeed with new product introductions. We are confident that their entry with us into the call center market will be another exciting success story for Lenovo and for CosmoCom."
