Paris, France June 15, 2000 – The European subsidiaries of U.S.-based CosmoCom™ Inc., the industry leader in unified contact center technology, and Magic Software Enterprises (Nasdaq:MGIC),
a leading provider of state-of-the-art development technology and business solutions, announced today a technology alliance to develop value added e-CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions.
Working in partnership with Magic Software Enterprises France, CosmoCom Southern Europe will integrate its parent company’s interactive multimedia communication platform with the Magic CRM Suite. This
product suite encompasses client support and service, contact management, global sales force management, as well as the entry and analysis of leads captured from Web sites.
By providing multi-channel interactive customer contact via Web, voice and video, this technology alliance will significantly increase the functionality of Magic CRM solutions. For example, all customer
contacts, including E-mail and voice mail will be distributed, prioritized and managed by a single, unified system. In addition, operators using Magic CRM will be able to develop value added multimedia CRM
applications that leverage the convergence of voice, data and video over IP. The integration of the CosmoCall Universe communication platform will also enable Magic CRM to support the development of
multimedia e-Contacts Centers dedicated to handling e-Business and Web call center applications running under the standard operating systems supported by Magic CRM.
“This European alliance is another affirmation of our technology leadership and rapidly expanding global presence,” said Steve Kowarsky, executive vice president, CosmoCom. “The fact that Magic Software
Enterprises France selected the CosmoCall™ Universe interactive multimedia communication platform over many other products illustrates the increasing acceptance of this product as a premier solution across
many different global markets and vertical industries.”
"The implementation of CosmoCom’s CosmoCall™ Universe communication platform will transform our CRM solution into a global solution for the total multimedia management of client relations,” said
Mr. Clerx, general manager of Magic Software Enterprises France. “This technology alliance will enable every one of our clients to integrate new technology solutions where voice, data and video over IP
converge into their e-CRM applications safely and without endangering their investment in CRM."
