CosmoCom

By providing an enabling technology for integrating live personal communication into Web Sites or other network-based applications, CosmoCom Inc. (Hauppauge) is strategically positioned to address intersecting opportunities in the Internet, intranet, extranet, electronic commerce, interactive TV, Help Desk and Call Center market spaces.

Its product, CosmoCall, is a complete alternative architecture for a new generation of call centers that support both telephone and computer-based callers with multimedia capable, IP network-based communication.

The company recently announced a distribution agreement with Siemens Nixdorf, which is establishing several competence centers for CosmoCom in Europe and has formally accepted and paid for its first system. In addition, CosmoCom has signed a multi-faceted alliance with Computer Assoc (NYSE, Islandia), which includes CosmoCom’s participation in the development partner programs of both Unicenter TNG, CA’s comprehensive end-to-end enterprise management solution, and Jasmine, CA’s object oriented, multimedia database.
