CosmoCom Receives $4.1 Million in Financing to Develop & Market CallCenter Product

CosmoCom has announced that it has secured $4,160,000 in new financing from PEC Israel Economic Corporation, Discount Investment Corporation, Wheatley Partners and the Long Island Venture Fund limited partners. The funds will be used for the ongoing technological development of the company's virtual call center product, CosmoCall, as well as for marketing initiatives for Version 2.0 of the product.

CosmoCall is a call center application that converts all incoming calls into IP packets. The application is capable of integrating IP based telephone communications into a web site or network-based application using an IP based ACD to enable customers to reach the proper customer service agent. Version 2 of the solution combines virtual ACD technologies, and IVR and unified messaging capabilities to enable the system to route and distribute any form of incoming message, including traditional voice and fax calls, Internet voice and fax calls, as well as email inquires, to the proper agent. The product can be implemented as a stand-alone call center solution, or used to enhance an existing legacy call center system.
