Send.com Selects Octane for Multi-Channel Customer Care Octane Software, Inc. announced that Send.com, an online gift service, has selected Octane 99™. Send.com will deploy the Octane 99 electronic customer relationship management (eCRM) suite to manage customer interactions across all of the company’s contact channels, including Web, e-mail, telephone and fax. HP Selected by Holy Cross Health System For IT Service Management Holy Cross Health Systems (HCHS) has deployed the HP OpenView suite of enterprise-management solutions to manage its IT service-management operations. HCHS has deployed HP OpenView products to measure system performance, identify bottlenecks, identify needed capacity enhancements, and report on the performance against service-level agreements (SLAs) with its customer base. CosmoCom Partners with SysLogic CosmoCom, Inc., announced a partnership with SysLogic, Inc., a provider of Internet-based solutions for commerce, to offer clients customized Web-based call center solutions. Through this partnership SysLogic's customers have access to CosmoCom's CosmoCall, which enables them to receive and route telephone calls, interactive Web-based inquiries, email messages, and voice messages, to customer service representatives through a single IP-based system. Prime Response Adds Web And E-Mail Marketing Prime Response Inc. will introduce Prime@Vantage.com that adds support for marketing campaigns conducted via the Web or e-mail. Prime@Vantage.com includes analysis capabilities to identify areas of marketing waste, target future customers, and tailor promotions for those customers. Its automation function is designed to help companies increase cross-selling opportunities and improve execution of marketing campaigns. The upgraded suite also includes tools that will let companies personalize their Web sites for customers accessing them, based on those customers' registration profiles and histories. EIS Posts Profitable Second Quarter The Company reported net income of $760,000, or $0.07 per share, for the second quarter of 1999, compared to a net loss of $1.1 million, or $0.09 per share, for the second quarter of 1998. Consolidated net revenues for the second quarter of 1999 were $13.9 million, compared to consolidated net revenues of $14.2 million for the second quarter of 1998. Remedy Reports Financial Performance Revenues for the second quarter increased 45% to $53.0 million, compared with $36.6 million in the second quarter of 1998. Net income was $6.2 million, an increase of 30% compared with the second quarter of 1998. Diluted earnings per share grew 31% to $0.21, compared with $0.16 for the same period last year. Excluding goodwill amortization, operating margin totaled 17% of revenue and diluted earnings per share were $0.22. SalesLogix Announces Second-Quarter Results SalesLogix Corporation announced financial results for its first quarter as a publicly-held company. Second quarter revenues were $8.2 million, up 173% from $3.0 million for the same quarter of 1998. License revenues for the quarter were $5.2 million, up 189% from the $1.8 million reported for the second quarter of 1998. Actual net loss for the quarter was $2.7 million, or a loss of $0.17 per share, compared with a net loss of $2.2 million, or $0.18 per share for the corresponding quarter of 1998. TeleTech Announces Second Quarter Results TeleTech Holdings, Inc. announced net income of $5.5 million, or 9 cents per share on a diluted basis. This represents a 21.7 percent increase over 1998 second quarter net income of $4.5 million or 7 cents per share on a diluted basis. Revenues for the 1999 second quarter increased $32.5 million, or 36.9 percent, to a record $120.6 million from $88.1 million in the 1998 second quarter.
