Software Awards Winners Named
Customer service on the Internet proved popular at the third annual Long Island Software Awards, which were presented last night by the Long Island Software and Technology Network, LISTnet.
CosmoCom Inc. won top honors for its CosmoCall software, which allows online customers to speak to customer service representatives via their computers or telephones.
Other small-company winners: Balfour & Infinity for system software, International Accounting for general applications, and Zydoc for special applications. Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory earned top honors among large companies.
