Maximus To Run Social Security Center
The Social Security Administration (SSA) has awarded Maximus a $56.4
million nationwide contract to provide Program Manager services for the
Ticket-to-Work and Self-Sufficiency Program. Maximus responsibilities will
include recruitment and management of nationwide employment networks
anticipated to be in excess of 4,500; coordination of services to a
projected 13 million Ticket recipients over the next five years;
assistance to SSA in processing payments to employment networks; and
operation of a national call center.

AVT Unveils WebLinq
AVT
MediaLinq Services, an outsource provider of high-volume email and IP fax
broadcast services, announced WebLinq 3.0, completing the company's
conversion of its core services to the Web. WebLinq 3.0 gives users full
functionality for targeting and personalizing e-document delivery
broadcasts and enables complete end-to-end account management capability
across an enterprise-allowing customers to optimize their use of on-line
email and fax delivery on a mass scale. WebLinq was originally designed to
allow customers to launch email and fax broadcasts, upload lists and
documents and track broadcast status using any Web browser. WebLinq 3.0
extends these capabilities by providing sophisticated merge functionality
for email and fax, plus unique account management tools.

CosmoCom Debuts CosmoPhone 2000
CosmoCom
announced the general availability of CosmoPhone 2000, a software
enhancement for CosmoCall Universe, its leading IP contact center
platform. CosmoPhone 2000 is a central component of the CosmoCall agent
software that provides an integrated IP-based voice and video capability.
This approach is especially beneficial to CosmoCom's ASP customers because
it makes agents completely location independent and supports the fully
distributed call center model ASPs require. CosmoPhone 2000 integrates
seamlessly into the agent Graphical User Interface (GUI), enhancing voice
quality on the agent desktop for both telephone and PC-to-PC Internet
calls.

Great Plains Siebel Front Office Enhanced
Great Plains announced the availability of Great Plains Siebel Front
Office 6.0, a comprehensive, Web-enabled and integrated customer
relationship management (CRM) solution for midmarket customers. Tightly
integrated with Release 6.0 of Great Plains Dynamics and eEnterprise,
Release 6.0 includes new e-business applications such as eCustomer and
eCampaigns, as well as enhancements to existing applications such as
eChannel, Sales, Service and Call Center. These enhancements, coupled with
end-to-end integration to Great Plains' e-commerce and back office
applications, make it easier for customers to take advantage of the global
e-business network.

Unisys & iE Bring E-Business to Credit Card Market
Unisys and iE announced a Global Reseller Partnership that will focus
on the joint development, marketing, and selling of comprehensive
e-business software solutions for credit card issuers worldwide.
Together, Unisys and iE deliver advanced e-business solutions by
combining iE's unique NetFinance Credit Card e-business products with
Unisys Front and Back office systems, proven business consulting,
outsourcing and implementation services. Using iE's products, the
solutions can be easily integrated into multi-vendor card processing
systems. iE is a key component in Unisys's deployment of complete web
enabled front- and back-office solutions to help banks provide better
service, retain and develop customers and reduce processing costs. Under
the agreement, iE has provided development licenses to Unisys and iE will
work with Unisys in joint product developments for the Card industry. iE
will train Unisys employees as iE Certified Consultants on a worldwide
basis. In addition to the US, UK and European markets, iE has named Unisys
as a preferred NetFinance Partner for the South Pacific, Latin America and
the Far East.
