CosmoCall Universe Selected As Backbone Of New Generation Contact Center Kiosks

MELVILLE, N.Y., CosmoCom, Inc, a provider of new generation call center platforms, has announced that GateLinx, a provider of Internet based kiosk systems, has selected CosmoCom's call center platform, CosmoCall UniverseTM, as the backbone of their new generation, web-integrated customer care solution.

GateLinx plans to roll out Internet based kiosks systems, called ComPorts, to retail stores, essentially creating a "virtual" store-within-a-store. Consumers will be able to walk into a retail store and order services such as DirectTV, Sprint PCS, ADT Home Security or MSN Internet via GateLinx kiosks. When customers require assistance, they will be able to access on-line, real-time customer support utilizing CosmoCall Universe as the core on-line customer support engine. ComPort systems will be located in such settings as Radioshack and Blockbuster Video stores.
