CosmoCom working with Sonus on contact-center apps for IP networks

CosmoCom Inc., a Melville, N.Y.-based provider of IP-based contact-center services, is working with Westford, Mass.-based voice-infrastructure systems firm Sonus Networks Inc. to provide network operators with contact-center applications for use in IP-based networks. The applications include pre-routing features historically deployed as part of circuit-based Intelligent Networks (IN), as well as a hosted Automatic Call Distribution application.

CosmoCom has completed interoperability testing between its CosmoCall Universe IP-based call center platform and Sonus Networks' voice infrastructure technologies.
