CosmoCom wins Best New Product at the 6th Irish Call Center Awards

MELVILLE, N.Y., November 30, 2001 -- CosmoCom, one of the world’s leading providers of IP-based multi-channel contact center solutions was awarded 'Best New Product' at the 6th Annual Irish Call Center Awards in Dublin, Ireland, for their CosmoCall Universe solution.

The prize was presented by the sponsor of the Best New Product or Service award, Kevan Williams, of Esat Business: "The winner of this category has developed superior next generation contact center technology," said Williams. "CosmoCall Universe addresses all facets of eBusiness customer care by integrating the three elements of the customer contact zone: customer care applications, contact centers and the web. The judges were further impressed with the international testimonials that accompanied the CosmoCall Universe entry."

The judging panel consisted of eight independent judges in roles ranging across IT, HR and training consultants with a wealth of knowledge and experience in contact center technology. With nine other awards being directly targeted to the administrative aspects of call centers and promoting best customer service, a highly competitive atmosphere surrounded the only award open to suppliers and manufacturers of contact center products and services.  CosmoCall Universe took home the prize.
