Contact Center Technologies Linked in Unified Web Client for On-Demand or On-Premises Implementation
MELVILLE, NY and WHEATON, IL – May 19, 2006 – CosmoCom, the Contact
Center On-Demand specialist, and RiverStar Software, the creator of Whitewater
Guide(TM) and Rapid Contact Suite(TM), announced today an alliance based on the
integration of their complementary technologies - CosmoCom's ACD/IVR/CTI
platform and RiverStar's call flow scripting/Web self-service solution. Unveiled
today at CosmoCom's global user conference CosmoCommunity 2006, where RiverStar
is a sponsor, the alliance will advance the market penetration of both companies
in the call center space.
CosmoCom provides an all-IP, universal access contact center system. RiverStar
Software has used its foundation integration capabilities and CosmoCom's "Thin
Client Web Services" to create a seamless, Web-based, integrated solution that
provides a unified agent interface. The combined solution is being demonstrated
at CosmoCommunity 2006 and will be available as a premises-based product or an
integrated hosted offering through selected CosmoCom Service Provider partners.
The relationship establishes a sales alliance under which RiverStar's products,
WhiteWater Guide(TM) and Rapid Contact Suite(TM), will be implemented into
referred customers currently using CosmoCall Universe(TM), CosmoCom's flagship
contact center platform, and new joint opportunities. The relationship will
expand RiverStar's exposure in its target market, and broaden the scope of the
solution that CosmoCom's channels and service providers can deliver to their
customers.
