CosmoCom Strengthens Americas Sales Team, Global Technology Support

Three Sales Veterans Join America’s Team, Telecom Expert Tapped to Support CosmoCom’s Continued Expansion

MELVILLE, NY – February 21, 2007 – CosmoCom, the global leader in Unified Customer Communications, announced today it has strengthened both its Americas sales team and its international technical team with the appointment of four new key executives.

"The growing interest in CosmoCom’s leading IP contact center technology is allowing us to attract the outstanding talent we need. Our new executives will help us to grow, especially in the Americas, and to maintain the high level of customer satisfaction we are known for," said CosmoCom EVP Steve Kowarsky.

The company has appointed Luciano Dolenc as country manager for Brazil, which is the largest contact center market in Central America and Latin America (CALA) according to Datamonitor. Dolenc is known for his abilities to initiate, negotiate and finalize complex deals with customers in vertical segments such as telecommunications, finance, retail, engineering, and Internet. He brings over 25 years of technical, sales and marketing experience in technology, including Intergraph, Sun, SCO, and HP.

Two key sales executives for North America have also joined the CosmoCom team. Steve Jackson, formerly vice president for eastern North America of Aspect Software, has been named vice president of sales for the Americas division, and Mike Odenwald, formerly a manager of contact center solutions for AT&T, is now CosmoCom’s regional director for the mid-Atlantic region.

The Americas organization reports to Ben Eisner, President of CosmoCom Americas, to drive growth in this hemisphere. "Steve and Mike will hit the ground running," said Eisner. "We’re telling the story of Unified Customer Communications, and enterprises throughout North and South America like what they’re hearing."

Meir Kisos, a telecommunications engineer with more than two decades of experience in managing the development, support, and sales of telecom products, is CosmoCom’s new assistant vice president for international technical Operations. Kisos’ most recent position was vice president for the RTBD division of Comverse in Tel Aviv, Israel.

"It’s not just about getting customers, but about keeping them," said Ari Sonesh, CosmoCom’s Chairman and CEO. "Meir Kisos is an industry veteran and an expert on service and support of telecom customers. His skills will contribute to our ability to keep our growing installed base running smoothly, and that’s what customers want most of all."
