CosmoCom Taps Alan Mitchell as Vice President for Mobile Solutions

Senior Executive from Avaya and Microsoft Joins IP Contact Center Leader

MELVILLE, NY – March 19, 2008 – CosmoCom, the global leader in Call Center Consolidation 2.0, announced today that Alan Mitchell, a veteran Microsoft and Avaya business development executive, has joined the company as Vice President for Mobile Solutions. Mitchell will lead the company’s initiative to expand the mobile user capabilities of CosmoCall Universe, orchestrating the development of solutions, value propositions, key partnerships, and customers to transform a visionary idea into a practical reality benefiting enterprises and their customers and adding to CosmoCom's growth.

"Mobility has always been part of our vision," said Ari Sonesh, CosmoCom’s CEO and Chairman. "Mobility is more than just the future of the call center. As mobility becomes the usual state of high-value knowledge workers, enterprises will need intelligent routing of multimedia sessions to wireless voice and data devices to respond to customers and maximize revenue. They will also need a new level of visibility and control in mobile communications. Network and handset technology advances have made this the right time for our next steps to meet this challenge, and Alan Mitchell is eminently qualified to lead this effort," Sonesh continued.

"I've been very impressed with CosmoCom’s depth of vision and its ability to execute since I first started working with them as a solution partner at Microsoft’s Communications Sector over a decade ago," said Mitchell. "I am very excited about becoming part of a team that has already achieved so much, and helping them reach the next level of vision and growth."

Mitchell began his software career at Microsoft, where he was General Manager of Strategy and Business Development, creating the software company’s first line-of-business vertical in the Communications Sector. He then went to work for enterprise communication products giant Avaya, where he led concept-to-market development of the remote support services program for the company’s communication-enabled business process solutions. Mitchell received his BS and MS from MIT in Aeronautics and Astronautics and his PhD in Mathematics from Brown.
